September 2005 Club Event: Our Club Helluvit Picnic on September 25th, 2005 was a great success! (It wasn't anything complicated, just a drive and a picnic!) We all set off from Bournemouth and enjoyed cruising through the Dorset / Wiltshire countryside, ending up at Compton Abbas airfield, where we watched some interesting aircraft taking off and landing in the glorious afternoon sun. Honourable mentions go to: John Dugdale for his shiny white Porsche and Dynamite Dave Revell for being the only one to remember to wear his Helluvit polo shirt!
October 2005 Club Event: Our last event, a Club Helluvit New Forest Rally went very well on 30th November, 2005. A small but cheerful crowd of us made our way to the Rhinefield House Hotel, near Brockenhurst in the New Forest for a small rally and afternoon tea. The surroundings were luxurious and the company excellent. A special mention must go to our favourite Omar Sharif look-alike, Khalid El Kenni, who had buffed his silver Peugeot 405 up to a very fine shine! (Or was that my bald patch?!). Thank you also to our special guest, Lillian Avon, who is the Director and Founder of the Bournemouth Literary Festival. www.bournemouthliteraryfestival.co.uk

November 2005 Club Event: The November Club Helluvit event was a drive from Bournemouth (we met at 22 / 24 West Hill Road, Bournemouth) out to Lulworth Castle on Sunday 20th November. We dodged some sheep, trailed a couple of Challenger 2 main battle tanks and met at the castle cafe to talk motors! It was great to see a few new faces, including Wui and Erina Young (proprietors of Young's Kitchen in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth) and Suzanne and Lionel Green in their cute little BMW Z3.

Remember, there's no charge to members for participation in our monthly road runs: just come along! But if it's a picnic, remember to bring some food and a frisbee! Or if it's a Road Run or Rally, bring enough money to buy yourself a coffee and a snack!
